EMBEC'05
3rd European Medical & Biological Engineering Conference
Prague (Czech Republic): Nov. 20 - 25, 2005 Dear Colleagues This is to announce that following the highly successful EMBEC'99 and EMBEC'02 held in Vienna, Austria in 1999 and 2002, the Third European Medical and Biological Engineering Conference EMBEC'05 is going to be organised in Prague (Czech Republic) on November 20 - 25, 2005. The main organiser is the Czech society for Biomedical Engineering & Medical Informatics, co-organising bodies include the Czech Technical University in Prague and European Alliance for Medical and Biological Engineering & Science. Negotiations are being held with the IFMBE to get the status of a regional IFMBE Conference. Please visit the Conference homepage http://www.embec05.org The regularly updated homepage will provide you with all relevant information and important dates of the EMBEC'05 including the possibility to fill-in the preliminary registration. It will put you on the Conference email mailing list to ensure automatic delivery of the newest conference information via email. The program of the EMBEC'05 will include a wide selection of plenary lectures and tutorials provided by distinguished experts from the whole world. The Conference will thus be a unique opportunity to get a "first-hand" information on the most exciting advances in the field of biomedical engineering and promising activities in research and development. We would like to encourage active participation of any expert in the field by offering the possibility to organise a session on a specific topic. If you are interested in organising such a session, please contact the conference secretariat. The Organising Committee will be pleased to provide the infrastructure needed. The conference will be held in the Prague Congress Centre with a panoramic view of the Prague Castle. Prague as a city in the heart of Europe has a very special and pleasant atmosphere in the pre-Christmas time of the Conference. Guarant, our professional congress organiser will prepare an attractive social program including the Gala Evening at the Prague Castle, current seat of the President of the Czech Republic.
